  The room and the breakfast were fine, but the location is what really made it good. The beach was nice and the nearby tide pools and cliff hike were fun.

  Visited The Strand restaurant on a wet Wednesday evening after being shunned away by all the other booked out restaurants. The staff were very accommodating and seated us straight away.
  The food arrived relatively quickly after ordering. There was a good selection and of very high quality. There was also a beautiful view of Kilkee Bay.
  I was very happy with the service, the food and the price. There was a nice casual atmosphere amongst the customers and staff which made the the experience very relaxing.
  I would happily visit again.

  We had a wonderful stay at sands,fabulous view from bedroom .Great food in bistro had the garlic mussels & scallops. Took all trips advise went on the loop head scenic route views amazing The cliffs of no where" more than a match for their near neighbour. We will be back.Frances&Frank

  Visited many times, always enjoyed our stay. Good food, excellent accommodation. Welcoming and friendly. Wish we could go more! Beautiful views overlooking the bay.

  I love this place. Great hospitality. Fab views from the nicely spacious and comfortable bedrooms. Restaurant speaks for itself..tasty food accompanied with nice wine. What more could you ask for... The strand always gets 10 out of 10. weather this weekend was an added bonus
